Meditation
Dhyan (Meditation) described in Ashtang Yoga is a Ramban (Sure shot) medicine for all the human diseases. Lust anger, greed, infatuation, jealousy, malice and egotism all these are mental diseases. No medicine of these diseases have been made till today. Meditation Dhyan) is the only medicine by which these diseases can be controlled.

Meditation is the path of living life full of peace & happiness with cheers. You are free from thoughts, from emotions. ; free from all types of struggles . There is complete silence with in yourself & state of supreme rest (Poorna Vishram) is attained. Remember you can not do it, you can only allow it to happen. Dhyan (meditation) is a process by which a person can reflect the divinity of the supreme soul by himself becoming a lamp. The feeling of truth, peace & happiness is DHYAN.
If you close your eyes_ & think about it for a while, as sages & Rishis have done for centuries, the world of the mind seems very different from the one inhabited by our bodies. The psychic space inside our heads is infinite & ethereal, slice into - the brain & thoughts & emotions don't spill out onto the operating table. Love & anger can't be collected in a test tube to be weighed & measured. The- science of DHYAN (meditation) says we can cure ourselves by getting to the root of the problem in the mind instead of grappling with its symptoms at the physical level. The result is more than just good health- a higher state of awareness. Meditation is a art of healing. Concentration is the essence of Meditation. The meditation begins in the heart & ends in the head.

Meditation is the freedom form thought, a state of no mind. It is a state of pure consciousness with no contents. It is the activation of natural 'seeing' activity, of the 'self' or consciousness. It is the finest way to increase one's personal energy by getting connected to the source. Meditation means to be in a thoughtless state of mind & chit with full awareness.
